Speech Therapy

Speech and language therapy aims to help children develop communication skills that will help them to be effective in their communication with others.Your child could benefit from speech and language therapy if they have:

  • Delayed Speech and Language
  • Oral-motor difficulties (e.g. Weakness, drooling)
  • Feeding and swallowing difficulties
  • Auditory processing problems (e.g. Poor auditory memory; inability to follow instructions etc.)
  • Communication difficulties resulting from neurological conditions e.g. Cerebral palsy; Traumatic Brain Injury, Rare diseases
  • Voice problems
  • Swallowing difficulties. We offer both traditional therapy and VitalStim therapy. VitalStim is a non-invasive, FDA approved treatment involving controlled neuromuscular electrical stimulation to strengthen the muscles of the throat used in swallowing
  • Stuttering and Cluttering (speech which is too fast and mumbled)
  • Articulation errors
